Day-by-Day Itinerary
Dehradun airport-Rishikesh (18 kms/40 min):
Arrive at Dehradun airport, pick up and drive to Rishikesh. Arrive and check into hotel. After freshen up proceed for local sightseeing tour of Rishikesh covering Ramjhula, Lakshman Jhula, Geeta Bhawan, Swarg Ashram and Ganga aarti at Parmarth Niketan. Stay overnight in Haridwar.
Rishikesh-Kunjapuri-Neelkhant
Early morning 04:30 am drive to Kunjapuri. You can see the beautiful sunrise from here. Enjoy the scenic drive through lush green mountains and misty clouds. Kunjapuri temple is located at an altitude of 7000 ft. On a clear day one can see almost all the peaks of Garhwal Himalayas from here e.g Banderpunch (6316 Mts),Swarga Rohini (6252 Mts) Gangotri ( 6672 mts) Chaukhamba (7138 mts) etc. Return to Rishikesh. After breakfast and freshen up drive 40 kms to Neelkhant Mahadev temple. Neelkanth Mahadev Temple is a sacred and famous temple located at 32 km from Rishikesh. Scenically situated on a hill at a height of 1330 mtrs, Neelkanth Mahadev Temple is a one of the most popular temples of Lord Shiva. A famous pilgrimage near Rishikesh, the temple lies above Swargashram adjacent to Nar Narayan mountain range. The temple is surrounded by three valleys namely Manikoot, Brahmakoot and Vishnukoot which makes it a religious place at the confluence of two perennial rivers Pankaja and Madhumati. Return back to Rishikesh. Rest of the day at your leisure, you can visit Bharat Mandir and Trivani Ghatt in the evening. Stay overnight in Rishikesh.
Rishikesh-Haridwar (25 kms/01 hr)
After breakfast check out and drive to Haridwar. Arrive and check into hotel. Later visit Mansa devi, Chandi Devi, Mayadevi and Daksha prajapati Temple. Evening Ganga aarti at Har Ki Pauri. Stay overnight in Haridwar.
Haridwar-Dehradun airport (35 kms/01 hr)
After breakfast check out and transfer to Dehradun airport.
