Do Dham Yatra From Delhi with stay at Kedarnath
Package Overview
The Do Dham Yatra refers to the pilgrimage to two of the four sacred Dhams—Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri, and Yamunotri—with the most common route being to Kedarnath and Badrinath. Badrinath is dedicated to Lord Vishnu, revered in the dual form of Nar Narayan, while Kedarnath is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. This yatra holds immense spiritual significance for Hindus.
Every year, millions of pilgrims visit Kedarnath and Badrinath in Uttarakhand. While some prefer to visit Badrinath and Gangotri to avoid trekking, others who have already completed the Kedarnath and Badrinath yatra opt for Yamunotri and Gangotri to complete the Char Dham darshan.
Following the tragic disaster of June 2013, the Kedarnath yatra was significantly affected. To ensure the safety of pilgrims, the government took crucial measures, creating a new, safer trekking route to Kedarnath. This route now includes five emergency helipads for evacuations in case of emergencies and provides various facilities such as tea and snack shops, toilets, resting shelters, medical assistance, and the presence of the State Disaster Response Force. Thanks to these improvements, the Do Dham Yatra in 2025 was highly successful, with approx 16.5 lakh pilgrims visited Kedarnath and 15 Lakhs piligrims visited Badrinath.
