Itinerary for Kedarnath

✅ Day 1 – Arrival at Haridwar / Rishikesh

  • Arrive by train, flight (Dehradun Jolly Grant Airport), or road.

  • Evening Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri (if staying in Haridwar).

  • Overnight stay at Haridwar or Rishikesh.


✅ Day 2 – Haridwar/Rishikesh → Guptkashi / Sitapur

  • Start early morning by road (approx. 200–220 km, 8–9 hours drive).

  • En route visit Devprayag (confluence of Alaknanda & Bhagirathi), Rudraprayag.

  • Reach Guptkashi/Sitapur by evening.

  • Dinner & night stay at hotel/camp in Guptkashi or nearby.


✅ Day 3 – Guptkashi/Sitapur → Gaurikund → Kedarnath (Trek)

  • Early morning drive to Gaurikund (approx. 30 km).

  • Start trek of 16 km to Kedarnath:

    • By foot, pony, palki, or helicopter (subject to booking & weather).

  • On arrival, check in at GMVN camps/lodges near Kedarnath.

  • Evening visit to Kedarnath Temple (if time permits).

  • Night stay at Kedarnath (basic accommodation).
